FEMA Elevation Certification

Fema Elevation Certification Can be Utilized for Residential & Commercial Properties

This is a highly technical document of approximately fifteen pages which must be filled out by a registered surveyor based upon data collected in the field. The surveyor first identifies the property location on a Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) which shows the flood probability. The surveyor then uses survey techniques to determine the floor elevation of the house and the elevation of the adjacent ground surrounding the structure.

This document is used to determine whether or not flood insurance will be required for that specific property.
