Lot Consolidation

Lot consolidation plats are completed for the purpose of combining two or more parcels of land that are adjacent to one another into one parcel of land. This is a fairly simple process in most cases. The surveyor will first need to perform the field work on all the parcels involved in order to determine the exact dimensions of the land boundaries in question. The resulting plat will indicate the original parcels and the new combined parcel of land. The owner will then submit the plat to the governing jurisdiction for approval of the land combination.
